The sinking of M/V Estonia

Bow visor came loose from its place, but never fell off the M/S Estonia, see sonar images. Bow ramp remained but the water poured in at the sides of it. 
It takes 30 minutes for MV Estonia to be filled with water with a large hole (truck entrance) in the bow, I see it as highly unlikely, given the weather. During the 16 minutes were M/V Estonia at a speed of 14 knots to 1.7 knots with a completely open front, wind 18 m/s, 3.5 to 5 meters waves with heights of 8.5 meters.
 
I think the bow visor flipped over on its hinges and lay on the bow, with time the bow visor slip over on the port side and get hooked there, see sonar images. It explain that there are no marks on the inside of the cover on the bow visor after the bow ramp.

Picture above, the tip of the bow ramp is "twisted and broken," but no marks on the inside of bow ramp hood. 




Image above; according to JAIC, M/V Estonia loosening the bow visor at 1.14 am, 16 minutes later 1.30 am, MV Estonia are still floating with a completely open bow, an opening which is bigger than a truck, about 15 x 18 feet.
